One of our catch up posts, about the visit to Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot at East Linton. We stopped here to walk the dog, and to give me thirty minutes to explore the mill, even though sadly it was closed on the day.
A well restored old mill, with its Dutch-style conical roof the site is well worth a visit, especially on a summer day I would imagine! The walk by the river looks well worth the time, and the photographic nature of the site, makes it easy to get carried away. I plan to return when the site is open, and to enjoy the location with some blue sky.
