Following the party yesterday, Mymble had no idea that she was once again going to be the centre of attention as she was driven to Oakhanger to accompany Red, who we looked after before Christmas. I had been asked to take Red into the Oakhanger dog show, as her owners were busy with other activites relating to the show and work.
Happy to oblige, Annabel and I arrived about 11, and set about getting the dogs enrolled, Annabel also entering the quilt competition, (which she later won)!
Red and Mipble both had a fantastic time as they strutted between the two rings entering as many rounds as physically possible.
At one moment I saw danger, as Annabel and I both entered the ‘best 6 legs’ round. Four legs being the dog, the other two being ours. Thankfully Annabel beat me in this one, and Red and I retreated to a safe distance.
In total Annabel and Mymble won 2 first prizes, Red took one 4th home.
Another great village fete put on by Oakhanger.
