Tuesday and we awoke to the prospect of a fun drive through France for our return trip to England.
However, we had a poorly 2CV and I was asked to share a car with Annabel, so another driver could return in a car. Sad not to drive, but delighted to have the opportunity to share and get some photographs, Annabel and I set off.
Missing the correct road, and driving the wrong way around the Le Man’s circuit didn’t spoil our enjoyment. Instead we ended up bumping into two other 2CV’s, (it’s amazing how quickly you lose a convoy) and the three of us drove in convoy through the lanes of France. Waves and smiles created us from the locals as we darted through town and village.
A perfect drive to Pegasus bridge, and then the ferry home.
