May 4th and the sun has finally come out, and is making up for the grey days that have dominated 2024 to date!
This Saturday finds us driving down to Cornwall for our planned week of work and seeing friends.
With the clear blue sky, we drive across Dartmoor to pick up some cakes for our first stop – a catch up with Annabel’s God parents – a lovely chat and relaxing coffee at their house above the river Lynher.
Talland bay is our home for the week – a by chance coincendence means we have the use of a holiday cottage, so I can fix the Wifi damaged in a recent storm.
We arrive to a panaroma of blue sky, hot sun and a gentle breeze – sometimes, we have to say, things fall into place!
Friends arrive in the evening, and we relax with a bottle of wine x 3 – a good meal and some fun catch up conversations.
