Following the Grand National day, we had a lazy wake up and took the car two miles down the road to Highworth.
Having agreed with the garage that we would drop it on the Sunday, we decided to walk the two miles back along the footpaths to Hannington village – this meant crossing the route of the old railway, (me happy) and walking through fields of Rapeseed.
We got some fun photographs and enjoyed exploring the local area. The rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying the sun overlooking the duck pond and garden at our current abode.
