With one dog to look after, but two incapacitated home owners, who are beginning to turn the house into an outtake of Dr Kildare, Annabel and I have had a day of managing the canine, preparing food, and gathering supplies where required.
Annabel has expressed an interest in seeing the beaches at Normandy, and I have always wanted to explore Bayeux and the Cherbourg pennisula.
With some little research, our next road trip has been planned, ferry from Portsmouth to Caen, and then a return trip from Roscoff to Plymouth, (as we have to be back in Cornwall for the 1st December).
Now the travel wheels, (well plans) were in motion, we set about the finer details like getting euros, and the car in legal shape for the journey to the continent.
Evening spent relaxing.
