Tuesday saw us preparing for the owners of our tearaway Jack Russell terrier to arrive, and collect their adorable, if not mischievous dog from us.
Having found a turkey in the freezer, we decided an early Christmas dinner was in order for the little dog’s owners, and a couple of other guests who were also popping over for the evening.
Annabel and I spent the day preparing the food – when I say Annabel and I, mainly Annabel – though I offered supporting and constructive comments along the way – I also hunted and gathered when required.
A relaxing evening with guests, and as someone had pointed out that it was the week of thanksgiving, Christmas dinner became our impromptu nod to the American custom.
Terrier collected with mixed emotions from us two – she was a lot of fun, but also required more management than the lab.
Tomorrow, one dog, and time to plan our next exploration, which is taking the form of a trip to France.
