After yesterday’s London trip, today was very much about catching up with work, admin, and finishing off some issues from the house sale.
First though was an opportunity to learn some new skills, as we had kindly had a brace of pheasants dropped in to us on Wednesday. I won’t share the full details, but I had never seen how a pheasant is dressed, and we spent the first half hour of Friday morning removing the meat with the help of a friend.
In the afternoon Annabel and I drove up to Basingstoke to pick up the lady of the house after her surgery. The evening was then spent relaxing with some easy films.
