It’s been a year since we got married, and our first anniversary finds us near Tunbridge Wells at a beautiful house, with a swimming pool and out door bar – I know! With the heatwaves still visiting the United Kingdom, we’ve struck gold with this sit.
The dogs are chilled, the cats – we could do without their kills being brought into the house – the swimming pool is wonderful on these hot days, and the grounds are simple for walks.
Annabel and I make the most of the time to work, and we get a few trips into town to catch up with some old friends and young relatives.
After the difficult sit in Leeds, the indulgent house down south has been a welcome relief.
