Moved the parents up country, and while we waited for the keys, I had a day free, so decided to head to York Railway Museum for the day.
A lot is available on line about the museum, so I don’t really need to say a lot about the visit, except that it was well worth it. Interesting display, and visiting off season meant plenty of space to wonder around.
Enjoyed watching the live signalling display, which showed the active York railway station. Good way to spend the day.
