A call to do a job in Cornwall, meant an opportunity to return to a holiday cottage we had visited before over looking Talland Bay. This was a welcome chance to catch up with friends and use a wedding present to visit the Camel Valley where they produce sparkling wines.
We started the main visit to Camel valley, by walking along the old railway track to Padstow, and then we enjoyed the tour, which we had been given. The tour was throughly enjoyable and followed by a flight of tasters 🙂
Friends came to the cottage and shared food and wine, and I visited a few customers from the area.
From Cornwall we stopped at Shaftesbury for a catch up with friends, before returning to Highworth for our sit. Sadly, Sunday evening we got family news, and it was a question of driving north over night to Kelso.
