We have set Friday afternoon aside for a decent walk with our dogs, and have decided to venture up the Forth to the next town along from Burntisland, which is Aberdour. With the weather finally turning sunny and more importantly warm, we couldn’t have timed this escape from the computer better.
With the water calm, the views were fantastic, even if the southerly side of the Forth was hidden by the har, ( Scottish word for sea mist) which didn’t lift until later in the day.
Finding a couple of coves gave us chance to let the dogs off their leads, and they had a great run around, splashing in the water and chasing each other. Arriving into Aberdour, we located a pub for a deserved half, before catching the train back to Burntisland, and some fish and chips. A great day out.
