A chance to get out and explore. I was still a little weak from the lurgy strike, but we went out to get some fresh air and explore the National Trust property of Mottisfont.
The wind was attackingly cold, so we just explored the house, which was an interesting building with an exhibition of water colour paintings. Unlike some houses, it was not cluttered with artifacts and with my concentration low, I found the simplicity of walking around without having to read a thousand boards quite relaxing.
A worthwhile visit, the gardens will be for the summer.
