Tuesday, and the weather has turned sunny 🙂 so we decide to take the recommendation of walking from the house, along the coast path, to, The White Eagle – a local pub, which apparently serves good food and local ales.
With blue sky, blue sea, a clear view of Snowdonia in the distant – and early spring warmth, we ventured along the cliff path, an eager Oslo running back and forth – careful of the cliffs – we spent a peaceful couple of hours treking – until we came to the Rhoscolyn National Coastwatch Institution – a perfect location to enjoy the views of the open Irish sea.
The White Eagle is a lovely pub, with a terrace that offers views of Snowdonia and inside has a great selection of drinks, and a tasty reading menu. We bought a flight of local ales, (1/3 pint glasses) and enjoyed a welcome refreshment after the walk. Oslo settled with a lie on the grass.
Returning over the hills – we got back to the house, for a relaxed evening by the fire.
Sadly, the weather closed in – so we spent the rest of the working week hitting the laptops, and keeping our customers happy, (ish).
