Sunday and we all woke up at a lazy hour.
Easy breakfast and two minutes silence observed, even by the dogs – we then all drifted off to The Vyne, a Tudor National Trust building on the outskirts of Basingstoke.
Walking in the footsteps of Henry VIII, we all explored this beautiful red bricked building and admired the intricate style and decor inside the house, before a slow walk around the autumnal garden and lake.
This National Trust building is one of my favourites, and I thoroughly enjoyed having a chance to come back to this site, as we were unable to go inside the house on our previous visit.
Our dog charges have had an easy day, and both enjoyed their relaxing Sunday after the company of yesterday.
