Friday morning brought a fabulous rainbow to start the day. We’d all had a well deserved lie in.
With guests arriving later in the day. Preparations for copious meals started.
David returned to Oakhanger in time to say hi and bye to my tea guests.
Little dog was well and truly back to normal – woof woof. And both dogs were delighted at David’s return.
The evening was spent catching up with friends over a sumptuous meal at the local pub.
For those of us heading up back from Cornwall, I left first, and had an easy uneventful drive up the A303 – my two friends followed later, but had the interesting experience of a motorcyclist racing past them near Stonehedge, the police in close pursuit, only for the motorbike to do a rapid 180, and tear straight back up towards them on the wrong side of the road.
I enjoyed my relaxing journey a bit more….though the excitment would’ve done me good.
