Today came news about the house – with fingers crossed we are making progress on the sale, so decisions had to be made – the decision being that I would return to Liskeard to complete the last few things, and Annabel would remain with the dogs – so this is going to be a short post, the only thing being of much note was finding a snake in the field when I went out walking with the dogs.
Adders are quite common – on the common – around Oakhanger, but I was surprised to find what looks like a grass snake on the field in November.
I didn’t venture too close, as I didn’t want the dogs to investigate.
A few birds of prey were over head, so I let nature decide while I headed home to pack and start the drive back to Cornwall – after lunch with two of Annabel’s friends.
Couldn’t help notice the number of car fires on the roads today – I passed two cars that looked fine, only to see grey smoke erupting from them as I headed up the road – on the radio there were more reports of car fires – just coincidence? I certainly don’t know the type of cars involved.
More fun over the next few days – the posts will have a Cornish flare though. 🙂
