A visit to the in-laws and a request to walk the dog, meant a trip to Hume castle, which also meant an excuse to walk to Hume castle, when I say walk, from the carpark up to the gate.
This is a great castle to visit for the panaromic views of the area, and even on the cold winter day that I visited on, you could see for miles.
Great place to walk the dog, as the gate and four walls provide a safe place for the untrained to run around, without running away.
