Running around the country over the last few months, but mainly on return visits. From Over Wallop, we headed to Burntisland and then down to Woking before a quick sit near Andover. Being repeat trips, and with the weather also poor, we didn’t explore much, so this post is just a fill in for the time between October to early November.
From Over Wallop we went back to Burntisland, and then down to Woking for the start of a house sit, which was meant to take us to December. However, due to Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean, our sit has been cut short, so we faced becoming homeless from 21st November.
Thankfully, and purely by chance, we had a call to do another sit in Hollyhead, which filled our lost dates and also allowed us to fit in a planned trip to Birmingham.
While Annabel caught up with some friends, I visited the city museum, which was thoroughly worthwhile, especially the Staffordshire Hoard.
