After a tough two weeks lazing by a pool in Petersfield, it is time for another pre-wedding event. This time a catch-up with my younger brother who has come up to Edinburgh for a few drinks before the big day.
Meeting at the railway station we walk to the National museum of Scotland, so we can say it wasn’t just about the whiskey. We have a couple of interesting hours around the large halls, and enjoy the exhibits, with a promise to return for a more detailed look.
From the museum we head up to the Haymarket and then the Royal mile. A few relaxing drinks and lunch. Another great day on the wedding run in.
