Tuesday 2nd found us packed and leaving Forest Row – a place we had enjoyed, and thankfully have been invited back to look after the dogs next door. This meant an easier loading of the car than normal and a slow journey up north – another storm making the journey one of rain, spray and wind.
We broke the journey with a brief visit to a National Trust property, Wimpole Estate.
A large mansion, with ground to match our brief stop for a coffee and lunch did not do it justice, we will return.
